If a man/woman ever lays their hand(s) on you, under any circumstances, I want you to remember you are important enough to call for help, protect yourself, report them or never let them get close to you ever again. Do not carry the shamed of someone else’s lack of self control. Do not ask yourself why me. Do not entertain the idea that it might be your fault because 9.9/10 it isn’t. Do not go back to anyone that disrespects you let alone your body. If you don’t show your brain/mind/body that you deserve respect it will literally rewire itself to understand that what’s happening is normal.
